CRM Reality Check
A free ten-minute assessment for sales leaders.
Twelve questions you can answer from memory, and three checks you run in your own CRM system. It scores the same way our full diagnostic does, but on a fraction of the evidence — so treat the number as indicative only.
How it works
- The questions
- Twelve you can answer from memory, then three checks against your live pipeline. Skip the checks and your score is marked indicative rather than measured.
- As you go
- Each answer opens a short note on why that question is asked and what the field data says. You keep those whatever you score.
- At the end
- A score out of 100, a band, and a specific list of what the cause may be — revealed once you have finished, not as you go.
- What to expect
- Most people score lower than they expect. That is normal, and it is usually a design problem rather than anyone’s failing. A high score is a real result too, and we will say so.

CRM Reality Check
A free ten-minute assessment for sales leaders.
Twelve questions you can answer from memory, and three checks you run in your own CRM system. It scores the same way our full diagnostic does, but on a fraction of the evidence — so treat the number as indicative only.
Twelve questions
These are drawn from the interview guides we use in the field. They are the questions that separate a CRM people work from, from one they report into.
Three checks, five minutes
Run these in your CRM now. Every one is reproducible by anyone with a pipeline report, which is the point — you should be able to check us, and check yourself.
About your team
Four quick questions, not scored. They let us compare like with like as the benchmark grows. Skip any you would rather not answer.

What your answers point to
Nothing flagged.
How the score was made up
| Item | Your answer | Score | Of |
|---|
Unanswered items are excluded rather than scored zero, and the total is rescaled over the points that were actually available — so a partial run still reads correctly.
What next
Talk it through
Half an hour, no charge and no obligation. Bring your result — we will tell you which of the flagged items would actually move the number, and whether it is worth paying anyone to look further.
Book a conversationIf the answer is that you do not need us, that is what you will hear.
Save it yourself
A clean copy of your score, the flagged items and the breakdown above — nothing else on the page.
Opens your browser’s print dialog. Choose Save as PDF as the destination.
Have it emailed
We will send your score, the flagged items and the source notes behind the three checks, so you can run them again yourself.
If the number was worse than you expected
That is the common outcome, and it is usually not a software problem. The pattern underneath most low scores is an asymmetry: the people who bear the cost of keeping a CRM current are not the people who consume its value. Reps pay; the board is paid. That does not respond to more training or a stricter mandate, because it is a design problem rather than an attitude one.
This test samples four of the eight dimensions we assess, and it takes your word for most of it. A full diagnostic measures rather than asks — data quality against the six DAMA dimensions, a reconciliation of CRM revenue against your finance system, an inventory of the shadow spreadsheets where the real pipeline lives, and a test of which pipeline questions your system can answer at all.
It also covers two things this test deliberately leaves out: what your CRM really costs once admin time and integrations are counted, and whether you could prove marketing consent for any contact if the ICO asked.
Its honest possible conclusions are: fix what you have, reconfigure what you have, or replace it. We hold no implementation, reseller or referral relationship with any CRM platform, and we are paid the same for all three answers.
